Synopsis
Toby Buckland, Carol Klein, Joe Swift and Alys Fowler give a few professional pointers to help you groom your garden to perfection.
Toby visits the RHS garden at Rosemoor and gets expert tips on how they keep their displays visitor-perfect, hunts for perfumed plants and takes a close look at the planting in their informal cottage garden. Back at Greenacre, Toby makes first impressions count as he adds a perfumed climbing rose and combines cottage plants for scent and colour in his front garden.
Carol is at Glebe Cottage with her students pricking out seedlings and potting on plants as well as giving her in-depth guide to the best cottage garden plant flowering now in her garden.
Joe is back on his allotment with an update on the year's progress and, in Design Made Easy, gives his design tips on making a pergola for climbers as well as showing where to plant structural plants for the best effect.
And Alys joins Toby at Greenacre and makes 'herbal tea pots' - herbs you can grow which make perfect chilled teas to refresh you while you garden.
