Synopsis

Sean Rafferty presents a selection of music and guests from the music world.

The Australian and Barbirolli String Quartets perform in the studio and join forces to play the final movement of Mendelssohn's Octet. They also talk to Sean about their forthcoming 'Ashes' concert at the 2009 Cheltenham Music Festival, celebrating Haydn's anniversary.

Plus mezzo-soprano Wendy Dawn Thompson performing with Chamber Domaine and talking about their forthcoming programme of Brahms and Bridge at Wigmore Hall.
