Synopsis

Live in the studio tonight we've have - all the way from Edinburgh - Withered Hand.

Withered Hand is musician and artist Dan Wilson. Dan used to be in Edinburgh indie band Barrichello who were signed to SL Records. After the band split in 2002 he formed another band Peanut. Peanut shared bills with, amongst others, The Rezillos, Uncle John and Whitelock and Hawk and a Hacksaw, and played the London Antifolk Summer Festival in Islington in August 2005.

In 2006 Dan started performing and releasing his solo work under the name Withered Hand. Dan recorded his new EP with Fence Collective supremo King Creosote over the course of two days in the AIA Hall, Anstruther, Fife.

Titled You're Not Alone, the EP was released at the Fence Collective's Homegame Festival in April, where Withered Hand made a hotly anticipated full-band appearance before heading out to Europe in May to play solo dates in Berlin, Paris, London and Amsterdam.

Rob Hughes also pays us a visit in the Parallel Universe.
