Duration: 29 minutes

The programme visits Galloway, Scotland, and a couple who run their own wildlife conservation park. Despite much discouragement from people who said it wasn't a suitable career for a deaf man, John Denerley fulfilled his ambition of working with rare animals. Everything went well until 2009, when one of his pandas went missing.

In the culture review, Radha Manjeshwar treads the boards with leading lights in deaf theatre, highlighting the best upcoming shows. Memnos Costi presents another instalment of his Stories Behind the Signs, exploring the bewildering range of signs used for UK city names.
