    The poet, playwright and novelist Fred d’Aguiar was born in London but spent the first twelve years of his life in Guyana, his parents’ home country. His collections include ‘Mama Dot’, ‘Airy Hall’ (named after the village where he spent his childhood) and ‘Bill of Rights’.

    Fred D’Aguiar’s latest collection, ‘Continental Shelf’ is published by Carcanet.
