Synopsis
Home renovation programme. Nick Knowles and his skilful builders are in Bradford to renovate a lounge for Emma and her nine-year-old son Thomas.
Contemporary, warm and full of mod-cons is the brief for designer Julia Kendell. Emma spent five years saving up for her own house and ended up buying a wreck of a place knowing that her dad would help her out with the DIY.
Unfortunately, injuries from a motorbike accident flared up meaning dad couldn't help out as much as he'd promised, leaving Emma and Thomas still living with them. DIY SOS's intervention will mean they can move into their own house at long last.
