The search for Britain's best young speaker continues with only eight speakers left in the contest. The challenge tonight is set at Althorp House, where under the watchful eye of the current Earl, Lord Spencer, the youngsters become tour guides. Lord Spencer is a tough critic; as a teenager he was a tour guide at Althorp and knows all the pitfalls.
The theme of the challenge is information. The speakers are allocated one room each and a detailed file of historical facts. It's up to them to decide how they use the information to impress an expectant tour group and Lord Spencer. The three speakers who fail to impress will have to speak again in front of Lord Spencer and the judges Jo Brand, John Amaechi and Jeremy Stockwell. One speaker will be sent home.
