Synopsis

Coming-of-age tale starring Father Ted actor Frank Kelly and young Welsh actor Adam Williams.

At 13, Gwyn feels too old to still be going on the obligatory day trip to the seaside with his grandad, especially when he sees a girl he likes on the pier. However, his granddad has a trick up his sleeve to help Gwyn impress her.

This film won the best screenplay award at the 2005 Finest Films student film awards in Cardiff.

Showing as part of BBC Wales' season on childhood in Wales, 'What Are We Doing to Our Kids?'.
