Synopsis
It’s the day of the wedding and Peggy’s panicking. Archie asks Ronnie to speak at the reception, but she doesn’t want to. Peggy tells Ronnie Archie chose her wedding suit, Ronnie tells her to wear what she wants so Peggy changes into a long white dress. At the B&B Danielle puts on her own white dress and locket. Peggy tells Phil Archie will be furious she’s wearing a dress. She admits he’s manipulative but she loves him. Phil gives her the confidence to walk up the aisle and tell Archie it’s not too late to change his mind. The wedding continues; there’s a noise when the Vicar asks if there are any objections, but it’s just Aunt Sal. As the couple say their vows Danielle walks into the Vic. She puts her locket into Ronnie’s glass. Upstairs Danielle packs Amy’s things. The wedding party arrive and Archie swops Ronnie and Roxy’s place cards. When Roxy takes Amy upstairs Ronnie steals her phone and reads texts between Roxy and Jack. The sisters argue and Roxy slaps Ronnie, who runs out. Jack follows and tells Ronnie he still loves her, she sends him away. Archie comforts Ronnie. Ronnie goes upstairs and finds Danielle with Amy. Danielle screams at Ronnie that she’s her mother; it’s obviously the first Ronnie’s heard of it. Danielle realises Archie’s lied to her. Archie comes upstairs and tells Ronnie Danielle’s insane. Danielle runs downstairs to get her locket and prove her identity but can’t find it. She tells the wedding guests Ronnie’s her mother and that Archie gave Suzy money at Christmas. Ronnie throws Danielle out. Billy begins his best man’s speech, Archie interrupts to explain that Danielle’s disturbed. Ronnie proposes a toast to her father, when Roxy hands her a glass of champagne Ronnie sees the locket in it. Realising Danielle was telling the truth Ronnie leaves to find her, Archie follows. Ronnie tells him he’ll be all alone now, he says if he snaps his fingers Peggy will come running, not realising Peggy’s overheard the conversation. Ronnie finds Stacey alone and drunk at the Slaters’ - Danielle’s gone. Ronnie and Stacey set off to find her. Peggy tells all the wedding guests to leave. Ronnie finds Danielle. Realising Ronnie now believes her Danielle starts to walk towards Ronnie but is hit by Janine’s car. Ronnie cradles Danielle and talks to her, Danielle calls her mum. Stacey tells the Mitchells what has happened and returns to Ronnie and Danielle with Roxy. Ronnie’s distraught, Danielle has died in her arms.
Dotty taunts Tiffany saying no one will marry her because she’s ginger. Jack persuades Janine she’s invited to the wedding reception but Peggy throws her out. Whitney and Dot take the children to the park. Janine returns to the car lot to find the office padlocked. Jack reveals Darren now owns it. Tiffany’s destroyed the footage Janine used to blackmail Jack. Janine tells Pat that Tiffany’s Ricky’s daughter and Ricky begs her not to tell Tiffany. Janine drives off and hits Danielle.
Max and Tanya wait for a call from Lauren. Tanya’s worried, with Stacey as an eye witness Lauren could go to prison. The couple kiss and Tanya asks Max to leave. Max visits Stacey and asks her to change her story, she wants a kiss first. Max leaves saying she never used to be easy.
Ian’s panicking as he prepares for the reception. He asks Jean to help, she says she’s no use but then spots the mess of flowers. When the guests arrive the flowers are beautifully arranged and Jean’s smiling to herself.
