Aled Jones introduces the first programme of the 2009 School Choir of the Year competition.
Three junior schools from across the UK battle it out for the title of Junior Champion Choir for 2009. They face judges Howard Goodall, Natasha Marsh and Bazil Meade, with the final results revealed in the Gala concert in April.
Musical renditions include Down by the Riverside and The Rainbow Song.
