Synopsis

With Jane Garvey.

Including:

Michelle Obama says that her husband doesn't understand fashion - so what are the politics of dressing your partner? How can you influence his or her wardrobe? And what do you do when he has an opinion about yours? Jane Garvey is joined by journalist Martin Kellner and BBC London's arts correspondent Brenda Emmanus.

Autism is thought to affect four times as many boys as girls but experts now believe this gender discrepancy could be down to the way girls are being diagnosed. We discuss why high functioning girls with autism are often misdiagnosed.

This year is the fiftieth anniversary of Cuba's Revolution, and the country has made huge advances towards equality, especially in areas of political participation and healthcare, and a legal framework for defending women's rights. Jane is joined by Gilda Chacon Bravo to talk about how women have fared in that 50 years and what challenges they still have to meet.

And the feminisation of history - Woman's Hour explores the contribution of female historians to our understanding of history and asks whether it has become 'feminised' by female authors who concentrate on the personal lives of monarchs such as Henry VIII.

Including drama: Daunt and Dervish.
