Synopsis

Lauren is desperate for her court case to be over so she can be found guilty and locked up. In prison, Tanya is distraught when she discovers she won’t be released immediately. Max promises Lauren he will sort everything. Lauren returns from her hearing and tells Max she can stay at Jack’s until the trial. Abi arrives and attacks Lauren. Max and Jack pull them apart. Later Lauren reveals to Jack she can’t live in Walford anymore, she’s moving out.

Stacey worries about Jean. Danielle offers to look after Jean but then receives a call from Ronnie offering her a waitressing job at R&R’s. Jean assures Danielle she will be fine but accidentally puts her duvet on the heater and doesn’t notice when it starts to smoke. Stacey arrives home just in time to stop a fire. Danielle returns and Stacey tells her she wants her to move out.

Janine continues to spend on Peggy’s credit card until Peggy receives a call from her credit card company. Janine then plants Peggy’s credit card on Jay. Peggy confronts Janine, Billy and Jay as she’s found out all the items bought on her credit card have been delivered to their address. Billy finds Peggy’s credit card in Jay’s jacket. Jay protests his innocence but Billy doesn’t believe him. Jay realises Janine’s trying to get rid of him.

Dot lies to Bradley that she might be looking after Dotty for a while whilst Nick works away and assures Bradley she can cope with Dotty and Jim when he returns.

Denise is angry when she discovers Zainab called Lucas but later admits she’s more upset that he hasn’t called back. Zainab tries to cheer Denise up with Libby’s book club but soon regrets it when the book under discussion is a little too academic.
