Pearl loves gossip and scandal almost as much as she cares for Ruby. Pearl finds herself having to deal with the fall-out of Ruby's failed romance in Pontefract, while at the same time trying to minister to her handsome lodger, Daniel.

Matilda Ziegler

Matilda Ziegler is best known for her role as Donna in EastEnders between 1987 to 1989. She also appeared in the sitcom Mr Bean as Mr Bean's girlfriend, Irma Gobb.
