Synopsis
A year in the life of Harry Patch, Britain's last survivor of the First World War trenches. Historian Richard Van Emden takes Harry back to the battlefield to lay a memorial stone, while the Master of the Queen's Music, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, composes a new choral work to pay tribute.
