TILDA SWINTON
Tilda Swinton is one of the most arresting and maverick figures in contemporary cinema. She has gone from being a darling of the arthouse scene and muse to Derek Jarman, to Oscar-winning Hollywood star. Recently she stole the limelight in Michael Clayton and Burn After Reading, and this month two more of her films will be hitting our screens – Bela Tarr’s The Man From London and Julia directed by Erick Zonca. Matthew Sweet assesses her career with the critic Muriel Zagha.
