Synopsis
Manish Bhasin, Mark Lawrenson and Lee Dixon preview the weekend's football fixtures and look back at the big stories of the last seven days. The 'big four' in the Premier League are all in action today with Chelsea travelling to West Brom in the late game and Liverpool visiting Bolton in the lunchtime kick-off. Arsenal and Aston Villa, two of the Premier League's most attractive sides to watch, meet at the Emirates while Premier League new boys Stoke face an awesome task at the home of champions Manchester United.
There's also a full programme of Football League fixtures while in the SPL, Rangers host St Mirren with Celtic facing Hamilton on Sunday.
There will also be a look ahead to the midweek international friendlies, which will feature all the home nations. Fabio Capello has guided England to their best-ever start in a World Cup qualifying campaign but has promised to experiment when they travel to play old foes Germany. Scotland face Argentina at Hampden while Wales visit Denmark and Northern Ireland host Hungary.
