Synopsis
Series following people who protect and work closely with wildlife and domestic animals around the clock.
RSPCA inspector Chris Shaw makes a grim discovery in a house in Nottingham - 12 dead cats and more than a dozen others in desperate need of rescue from appalling conditions.
Presenter Tom Heap learns how to burp a baby badger at Secret World in Somerset, and in Scotland two orphaned seals reach their fighting weight and are released back into the wild.
