Synopsis

The adventures of two unlikely friends.

Big and Ruby try to write a poem about a sweet little songbird, but Small keeps interrupting, so they send him into the kitchen where he finds a pair of clogs. Small has never seen clogs before and he thinks they are absolutely brilliant. He just can't stop clogging all over the house and making a terrific noise.

Big and Ruby try to write their poem but they can't concentrate. When Small says he will clog away forever because it is so much fun, Big and Ruby decide to take action.

They put on their own hastily made clogs and there's a big clogging showdown, until Small is exhausted and realises that everyone needs a break from the sound of clogs. In one final flourish, Big and Ruby ask Small to join them in writing a poem about a noisy woodpecker.
