We hear about American Thanksgiving & the emigrant story at the Ulster American Folk Park.

    Conal Gillespie travels to the Ulster American Folk Park near Omagh to find out more about American Thanksgiving.

    Paddy Fitzgerald from the Centre for Migration Studies sets the scene; before Conal heads off round the museum chatting to different people about the emigrant story.

    Museum Interpreters, Phyllis Jack, Walter McFarlane and Mura Wilson paint pictures of emigrant life, from the ‘American Wake’ to conditions on board the ‘coffin ships’ and what the emigrants found when they landed on American shores.
