Synopsis

Consumer series looking at the state of Britain's restaurants and pubs. Matt Allwright and Anita Rani investigate whether levels of food safety change depending on the price of your meal. Are expensive restaurants less likely to cut corners?

The team infiltrates the kitchen of one of London's swankiest Italian restaurants, loved by A-list celebrities. They are far from impressed by what's happening in the kitchen when they find evidence of dropped ingredients and food in danger of cross-contamination being served up to unsuspecting guests.

Anita goes undercover to expose workers cutting serious corners in two branches of a fried chicken chain.
