Synopsis

Coverage of the prestigious Burghley Horse Trials from the grounds of Burghley House in Lincolnshire. Equestrian enthusiasts give a warm welcome to members of the Great Britain squad that won team eventing bronze at the Beijing Olympics, including William Fox-Pitt and Mary King.

Fox-Pitt won his fourth Burghley title last year on board Parkmore Ed, edging Polly Stockton and Andrew Hoy after an impressive show-jumping display. Can Fox-Pitt claim a fifth win in the face of what is sure to be extremely stiff competition?
