Sean Rafferty talks to cellist Matthew Barley and pianist Thomas Larcher about their part in Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time ahead of its late night Proms performance, and they play extracts in the studio. And the Proms focus continues with the LPO's principal conductor Vladimir Jurowski along with mezzo Elena Manistina and baritone Pavel Baransky, who sing extracts from Rimsky-Korsakov's Kashchey the Immortal.
