Synopsis
Jimmy Doherty continues his journey around the UK, meeting the people who are shaping the future of farming.
Jimmy searches for those striking out in new and original ways that will help all of us meet the challenges of the gathering world food crisis. In Northern Ireland, farmers are putting a new twist on traditional ways.
Jimmy discovers the secret of making chemical free bacon, the art of ploughing, why the UK is still in the grip of the disease that caused the original Irish potato famine, and investigates how stress-free animals make better meat.
