Synopsis
A star-studded bawdy mystery story set in medieval France, inspired by contemporary records of animals tried and hanged for capital offences. An idealistic Parisian lawyer, Richard Courtois, becomes embroiled in religious, political and sexual intrigue when he takes up his new practise among the superstitious community of Abbeville, and finds himself defending a pig charged with murder.
