Synopsis

The Bard of Barnsley, poet Ian McMillan, takes a journey along the Humber estuary that takes in Spurn Point, Grimsby and Cleethorpes and produces a poem inspired by his journey through this all-too-rarely celebrated corner of England.
Made in England is a joint partnership between BBC English Regions and Arts Council England.
