Series 17 Programme 2
This week, Wilson Burgess takes a run over to his own airt of Aghadowey, to take up an invitation to kailye again with William and David Knox. There'll be more crack from the brothers, just like that the listeners to Kist enjoyed back in January, when they were first on the show.
This time David tells how well the hamely tongue travels to countries like Australia and Sweden, and William has a wheen of yarns and poems, including a favourite by W F Marshall.
Dick Gaughan, one of Scotland's best-known singer-songwriters, is on tour this month in Ireland, and Wilson plays a track off Dick's latest 'live' CD, and follows that with a wee verse of his own, in praise of 'Owl Keady's Side'.
