What happens in this episode?

When Donna informs Gaz they leave for London at the end of the week, Gaz tells Janet he loves her. Heartbroken, Janet encourages Gaz to do the right thing and go with Donna. Gaz tries to make up with Donna by telling her how proud he is of her. Donna is so overcome she can’t bring herself to tell Gaz the truth: as she admits to Tim when Gaz has gone, she does not want Gaz to come to London with her because she’s met someone else. He’s called Wesley.

When Gaz visits Janet and Janet decides to tell Donna everything. But before she finds Donna, Janet meets Tim, who reveals that Donna is having an affair. Janet starts to berate Donna about Wesley, but is interrupted by Gaz. He’s so worried about who has said what to whom that he blurts out the truth himself. After a furious row, in which Donna vandalises Gaz’s van, Janet and Gaz tell Donna how sorry they are. When Donna refuses to accept their apologies, Janet tells Gaz about Wesley. Donna admits the truth: she has moved on. She tells Gaz and Janet she loves them both and thinks they are right for each other.

Meanwhile, Louise is having major contractions. She wants a caesarean section, and fast! When the ambulance doesn’t arrive, Munch decides to carry her to Janet’s. But Janet is busy sorting out her relationship with Gaz, and despite Munch’s assertion that he and Louise have an expert at hand, Corinthian isn’t much use as a birth professional either.

With the birth imminent, Louise persuades Munch to wheel her to the Archer on plinth of the dead Jonny statuette, to wait for the ambulance among friends. At the pub, the Paramedic informs Louise she’s too far gone to make it to hospital. Munch supports Louise as she gives birth in the Archer to a baby girl who is just as beautiful as her mother.

The next day, Louise brings her baby to Donna’s farewell drink in the Archer. Everyone is amazed that Louise’s figure is back to normal! But Tim is more shocked to be the last to discover the truth about Janet and Gaz’s relationship.
