Synopsis
Atmospheric drama about a fugitive prostitute in the South Pacific who finds herself in conflict with a bigoted moralist. Rita Hayworth gives a steamy performance in a part already made famous by Gloria Swanson and Joan Crawford in earlier film versions of Somerset Maugham's story, Rain.
