Synopsis
Freema Agyeman narrates a documentary series focusing on the most extraordinary and eye-watering cases to come through the doors of a busy British A&E department, plus remarkable tales of medical survival from across the UK. Features a fisherman whose tackle is put in danger when an anchor is swung into his groin; surgeons operating on a five-year-old to remove some life-threatening lego from his nose; a man whose foot is engulfed by pus-filled boils; and a boy who ended up with toes on his hands after a freak bouncy castle accident.
