Kizzy: Mum at 14

Synopsis

Documentary centred around teenager Kizzy Neal, who became pregnant to a 13-year-old boy who left town when he heard the news.

Britain has the highest rate of teenage pregnancy in western Europe, and Torbay, where Kizzy lives, has one of the highest in the country.

The film follows Kizzy through her pregnancy and the first six months of the infant's life as she struggles to come to terms with her enormous responsibilities and battles to get the baby's father to acknowledge his child.
