Matthew Pinsent

Series in which celebrities trace their ancestry. Olympic rowing champion Matthew Pinsent knows that his parents' families were greatly affected by WWI; two of his grandfather's brothers were killed, as well as his grandmother's only brother. In China, he discovers his maternal great-grandfather's connection with a trading company. Back in the UK, he finds a link to influential aristocrats, and is able to trace his maternal line back to some of the biggest characters in British history.
