• When is the programme broadcast?

  The Andrew Marr Show is broadcast on Sundays on BBC One, from 0900 to 1000 BST.

   

  It is not repeated, but of course viewers can watch it again at any time on the website.

• What is the car driven by Andrew in the title sequence?

  It is a Nissan Figaro.

   

  The retro styling is accentuated by chrome from bumpers to boot hinges.

   

  The Figaro has a 987cc turbo charged engine and three-speed automatic transmission.

   

  Internal fittings include a retro-styled CD player, air conditioning, all-white leather-trimmed interior, and canvas roll down top.

• From where is the programme broadcast?

  The studio is in Television Centre in West London. Andrew Marr is broadcast from the same studio as Newsnight, The Politics Show and various other news programmes.

   

  The back of the studio is a video wall and each programme inserts into that wall whatever graphic or picture they want.

   

  The Marr picture is aimed to give the feeling of being next to the House of Commons and overlooking the Thames in central London.

   

  The picture - or in fact series of pictures - was taken from the top of the Milbank tower which is a very tall office block on the embankment about midway between The House of Lords and the Tate Gallery.

   

  Four shots were taken from the same spot then stitched together digitally, and a ten-minute loop runs in the video wall.

   

  The same busses and vans cross the bridge ...but with a ten-minute gap, we hope this is not too obvious.

   

• Can I watch the programme on this site?

  The programme is shown on BBC iPlayer after UK transmission, and is available to view for 7 days after transmission.

   

  (Occasionally, if a programme contains excerpts from other sources, rights issues may mean we are not allowed to show the full programme.)

• Why has my comment not been published or read out on air?

  We cannot publish all comments that we receive due to the volume sent. However, we aim to publish a good cross-section of the views we receive.

• Why has my comment been edited?

  The BBC is responsible for all the comments broadcast or published on the site. Therefore, we have to remove any libellous or potentially libellous statements from messages.

   

  We also aim to publish as many comments as possible, and will sometimes shorten statements to make it easier for users to read as many different views as possible.
