Analysis of the biggest political stories in the capital
Broadcast Sun, 11 Dec 2011, 12:00 on BBC One (London only) but not available on BBC iPlayer.
Jon Sopel and Tim Donovan are here with the top political stories of the week.
Tim Donovan is a very experienced broadcaster and enjoys taking a fresh approach to politics.
After training in newspapers, he started out as a political reporter on 'Around Westminster', before becoming a general reporter and specialist correspondent for BBC in the South East.
Tim won 'Broadcaster of the Year' in the BT awards, 2001, for a report on Ken Livingstone's campaign to become mayor, having followed him around for a month with a digital video camera.
He won plaudits for his coverage of the Damilola Taylor murder trial in 2002.
Mistakenly calling Frank Dobson "Ken Livingstone" at the end of a 'live' interview once gained him a prized spot on Auntie's Bloomers.
Tim has resolved to improve the quality of his research!
Away from politics Tim has four kids and lives in south London. He is a school governor. In his spare time Tim enjoys holidays, football, reading and walking.
