Synopsis
Jane Ray presents the moving story of her son's battle to overcome myalgic encephalomyelitis, or chronic fatigue syndrome, by inventing an alter ego for his body whom he chooses to call Rusty. Recorded over a period of 18 months, the intimate power struggle takes place against a background of professional discord about the origins, diagnosis and treatment of a devastating illness.
