Synopsis
Suzi Quatro continues to profile acclaimed stars of the rock 'n' roll era. This week, she remembers one of the pioneering rhythm and blues singers, Ruth Brown.
Known as "the girl with a tear in her voice" because of her emotive singing, Brown enjoyed particular success in the early 1950s with hits including (Mama) He Treats Your Daughter Mean.
