The Beechgrove Garden, 2007 Episode 6 of 26

Scotland's favourite gardening programme. Ian Thorn on The Black Isle is Scotland's first sweet potato producer and Halloween is harvest time. Ian has now sent Beechgrove some sweet potato slips and Jim has been anxiously awaiting arrival of this new Beechgrove crop by preparing beds and will be following the process of growing these tasty tatties through the season.

And Carole is growing more exotics as she tries her hand at growing coriander both out of doors to see if it will cope an just in case it doesn't, along side that safely in mini greenhouses. Carolyn is called in by Kenny and Jacqueline Loraine, in Howgate to help tame a Leylandii screen and once tamed she used the backdrop to create a woodland garden. Lesley visits a delightful rhododendron garden in Roseneath.
