    One of the highlights of the 2009 Belfast Festival at Queen’s was the concert with two of Northern Ireland’s most acclaimed poets: Seamus Heaney and Michael Longley, celebrating their 70th birthdays with the Ulster Orchestra, conducted by Proinnsios O’Duinn.

    The concert took place at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on 17 October

    2009 and was broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster’s Sounds Classical programme
    on 18 and 25 October, presented by Marie Louise Muir.

    Festival Nights was there for BBC1 Northern Ireland.
