Album of the Week is Becaye Aw "Sibi" the first solo release from the African Fulani singer songwriter who has worked with the likes of Ali Farka Touré and Baaba Maal.

There is also new music from The Valentines and Passion Pit, tracks from some of this year's Mercury Prize nominees, a live recording from Tim Buckley and two classic songs from the pen of the late Ellie Greenwich who died this week.
