Synopsis

Michael Aspel looks at what happened next after objects left the Roadshow, including how a scrap of paper which turned up in front of the experts bearing a few jotted thoughts has now been confirmed as the genesis for probably the funniest sketch in the history of TV comedy. Also, how a grubby painting can reveal hidden secrets in the hands of a restoration specialist, and a visit to the hand-built home of May Savidge, constructed to house her lifetime of curious collections.
