Bryan Burnett is one of Scotland's best-known media personalities, mainly due to the many shows he has presented for radio and television over the past two decades.

Get It On with Bryan Burnett is BBC Radio Scotland's daily interactive music programme, in which listeners share their passion for music by nominating the best songs and songwriters of all time, while Bryan Burnett, with his trademark energy and enthusiasm discovers the stories behind the choices.

Described by the Herald as "One of the network's most knowledgeable presenters", Bryan presented Radio Scotland's critically acclaimed Americana and country programme, Brand New Country, for 15 years. The Country Music Association in Nashville awarded Bryan the prestigious 'International Broadcaster of the Year' award for 2005 to recognize his outstanding contribution to the field. Over the years, Bryan interviewed some of the most interesting performers in the industry. Brand New Country's guest list included Emmylou Harris, Shelby Lynne, Brad Paisley, Steve Earle, Kris Kristofferson, Alison Krauss Union Station and Mary Gauthier.

Also for Radio Scotland he presented Vic and Bryan's Big Scottish Adventure, Let's Do the Show Right Here and co-presented the station's coverage of Live 8 Scotland, South By Southwest music festival and Hogmanay 06.

After starting out at Northsound Radio, Bryan spent six years at Radio Clyde in Glasgow. During which time he presented both Top 40 chart shows and in-depth music documentaries. Bryan first reached a wider audience across almost all of Scotland, when his Radio Clyde programme 'Soundcheck' became the first show to be broadcast on all commercial radio stations in the country.

For ten years Bryan was the presenter of Scottish Television's 'Scottish Passport' show. His other work in television includes Passport Quiz, Party Animals and Country Nights.
