Synopsis

Reality TV show in which children experience the life of a wartime evacuee. There's cause for celebration at Castle Farm as the end of the war is announced and the boys and girls prepare to say goodbye to life as 1940s evacuees. One person they won’t mind saying farewell to is their strict schoolmistress Miss Young, but there's a surprise in store for the evacuees as she shows a softer side. To celebrate the end of the war in style, Mr and Mrs Rivett are hosting their own VE day party.
