Synopsis
Documentary. The 1970s was a world without the Internet, multi-channel TV, mobile phones and celebrity gossip magazines. But for Britain's teenage girls there was something to help fill that entertainment vacuum: Jackie magazine, packed with advice about pop music, fashion and boys.
In this bitter-sweet look at the golden age of Jackie, former readers, writers and publishers share their memories and debate the pros and cons of growing up in an age of platforms, ponchos and Donny Osmond.
