Synopsis

Disturbing, occasionally complex, drama told in flashback about a tormented love affair between a lecturer in psychoanalysis and a young American girl he meets in Vienna. His desire to know everything about her mysterious past, coupled with her reluctance to divulge the truth, results in a destructive sexual affair.
