Oliver sounds Helen out about the market potential for a hard unpasteurised cheese. She says there are a lot out there so it would have to be something special. She suggests that she could make it for him, and Oliver agrees her experience would be invaluable. He says he'll mull it over and get back to her.

Jennifer thinks Brian's back problem has resulted in Adam having far too much to do but Brian disagrees. He says Adam's dying to get back to it after a fortnight lazing around in Africa. Alice points out that he and Ian were involved in lots of projects there. She can't wait to go. Jennifer is concerned that she's trying to fit too much in and it will be too dangerous. But Brian isn't worried. He thinks she'll get a reality check once she's there; she won't be able to afford to do half what she wants to.

Later Alice secretly visits Caroline to ask if there are any waitressing jobs going. Caroline checks that it would fit in with her college work and that her parents know about this. Alice assures her that Brian and Jennifer are totally cool with the idea.
