Synopsis
Romantic comedy drama starring John Cusack and Jack Black, based on Nick Hornby's novel about a thirtysomething record shop owner struggling to reconcile his love of music with his adult responsibilities.
The shop is unprofitable, not least because of the two morose assistants with an aggressive customer-service manner. Add to this the misery of a string of failed relationships, and the scene is set for an obsessive review of the protagonist's past.
