    On Friday 17 May the BBC Big Band celebrates the centenary of legendary big band leader Woody Herman in concert at the Town Hall Birmingham.

    In a 50 year career Woody Herman’s famous Herds were among the most exciting big bands around. In this exclusive Town Hall performance the BBC Big Band, conductor Jay Craig and guest singer Matthew Ford perform Woody’s biggest hits. Including The Woodchoppers’ Ball, The Four Brothers, Apple Honey, Bijou and Blues in the Night.
