Sarfraz Manzoor

Sarfraz is a journalist, author and broadcaster. He is a contracted writer for The Guardian and The Observer, but his writing has also appeared in, amongst others, Esquire, Prospect, The New Statesman and Index on Censorship.

He has written and presented Luton Actually for the BBC, and as a commentator he has appeared on numerous radio and television programmes including Question Time, Moral Maze, The Heaven and Earth Show, the Today programme and The Review Show.

He is currently reporting for BBC Two's The Culture Show and is a familiar voice on Radio 4; recent documentaries include a three-part series about the working class, a programme that explored Johnny Cash's Scottish origins, and a profile of Little Richard. He is also an occasional presenter and panellist on Saturday Review. In addition to Radio 4, Sarfraz has also presented on Radio 5 Live and Radio 2.
