Heather loved the simple things in life - her perfect night? A Cagney and Lacey box-set on the sofa with her best mate Shirl, some cheesy chips, followed by a bop to her Best of the 80s compilations.

But life wasn't easy for our Hev. She was bullied all her life - by her mum and her schoolmates - and lacked confidence as a result. Her best mate Shirl fought her corner, but even though she had Hev's best interests at heart, her friendship sometimes stifled Hev.

Things changed when Heather became pregnant with baby George. Though it wasn't plain sailing with George's Dad, Darren Miller, Heather found purpose through being a mum, and the confidence to stand up for herself - for George's sake.

And when she fell in love and became engaged to Andrew Cotton, everything looked to be turning out rosy. But unfortunately, there was no happy ever after for Heather. She was tragically murdered by Ben and has gone to the great 80's convention in the sky.
