Revenge is a dish best served cold...
An upbeat Alfie begins preparing for Christmas, safe in the knowledge that he will finally be spending it with Kat. Roxy, still nursing a hang over and a wounded pride from yesterday’s embarrassing fall, finds herself fleeing when she witnesses a cheerful Alfie discussing Christmas with Terry. However, Kat has other ideas about Alfie’s plans when she makes it clear that a lavish Christmas is the last thing they should be doing, especially with the wound still fresh for Roxy. Roxy is clearly angry and upset that Alfie has found it so easy to move on; believing a fresh start in Spain is what she needs. Ronnie attempts to soothe Roxy; but it does nothing to budge the idea of Roxy leaving Walford. Recruiting Phil to help her, Ronnie brings Alfie and Kat’s moment of joy to a standstill when she coldly informs them they’ll be selling The Vic and that Roxy is her only priority. Leaving Kat and Alfie reeling.
The sale of the Vic becomes public knowledge; Ian’s curiosity gets better of him and he enquires how much Phil is selling it for. A furious Kat is all but ready to confront Ronnie when Alfie, attempting to keep the peace, insists he’ll talk to Phil. As Phil discusses contracts with the estate agent, Ronnie’s desperation has become apparent. Roxy is still in the dark, when Fatboy, worried about his job, mentions it to her. Roxy heads to The Vic but leaves just as quickly when she is met by a hostile Kat. Alfie’s diplomacy skills are pushed to the limit when he attempts to talk Phil around. In a position of power, Phil tries to get Alfie to beg but instead, in a moment of anger, Alfie shatters Phil’s window with Queen Victoria bust.

An unexpected arrival
With the Butcher/Spraggan household bursting at the seams, it’s not long before chaos sets in. Bianca is furious when TJ’s shower gel spills on her delivery of dresses, and with Terry returning smelling like beer she rants at him before storming out. Terry confesses to Kat that although all hasn’t been smooth sailing with the two families, he wouldn’t change things. But she is relieved when Terry and the kids appear, after cleaning the whole house, even devising a cleaning rota – much to Bianca’s delight. Liam answers the door to find a glamorous woman in an air hostess uniform – it’s Rosie and TJ’s mum, Nikki.
The next morning, Nikki arrives at the Butchers’ with gifts for TJ and Rosie, after spending the night in the B&B. She makes Rosie’s day when she gives her a signed One Direction CD. When Nikki suggests having lunch with Terry, Bianca offers to cook, roping in David when Terry has to work. Over lunch, the talk turns to Christmas where Bianca accuses Nikki of boasting about her perfect life. But Nikki is quick to fire back that she only buys her kids presents because she barely sees them. After Bianca apologises, the two bond over Terry’s tacky Christmas traditions. Bianca is later forced to admit she had Nikki wrong, to Terry’s surprise. As they say goodbye, Nikki tells Bianca she’s sure Bianca will be different to the numerous other women Terry’s moved in with after whirlwind romances, leaving Bianca stunned.
