The National Autistic Society
The National Autistic Society is a leading UK charity for children and adults with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. They provide information, support and pioneering services, and campaign for a better world for people with autism. Peach is a parent-led group aiming to encourage, support and inform parents of children with autism. Peach aims to give guidance on obtaining a diagnosis of autism and stresses the importance of early behavioural intervention.

Ambitious about Autism
Ambitious about Autism works to improve the services available for children and young people with autism and increase awareness and understanding of the condition. They’re also committed to campaigning for change to ensure the needs of people with autism are met.
Talk about Autism is their online community. A forum for parents of children with autism and others to talk about how autism impacts on their lives, and a place to share your story, get support and help other people to understand more about autism.

bibic is a national charity offering practical help to families caring for children with conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, developmental delay, brain injury, and specific learning difficulties such as ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.
It specialises in understanding the causes of challenging behaviour and can offer support if your child has not been diagnosed with a condition.

Dyslexia Action is a national charity that takes action to change the lives of people with dyslexia and literacy difficulties. The charity specialises in assessments, teaching, training and consultancy. It also develops and distributes literacy support materials and undertakes research.
